POEM #2

LIES

Hiding behind walls, looking from afar

His silhoutte seems like a colorful twinkling star

His angelic visage dazzle through the dawn

Inside of me is reckless yet a whimsical storm

Our eyes met in the midst of bright neon haze

Showing off sparks on his fair, handsome face

Yet I avoided his gaze for the thwart of falling deep

Albeit fervor flows down my spine as my heart skips a beat

I’ve seen him lunge through my space in a nigh

Daresaying in his mind’s a fumble that makes me high

It was like a conflagration amidst a glacial fortress

But his visage shows nonchalant ampathy, paranoia and madness

I haven’t utter of my hidden feelings yet

But I can hear his low, crestfallen melody I might get

I froze, body’s stiffened by the batches of frigid snow

Stonecold, I’ve seen a vivid picturesque of quirks he didn’t show

I turned a back by the frantic fire, burning eyes

Doubted his tenacious clasp through my arms

I’ve been in a predicament by his fumed vanity

Abashed by his grimaced stare, I’ve die through my insanity

Realization hit me damn hard like a thud in a thundercloud

That he’s a prince in his quaint castle and dazzling crowd

My lips sealed, turmoil ’cause of his blithe eyes

I choose to keep in silence, forget his batches of lies.
